Aditya Julka

Aditya Julka is the co-founder of Paddle8, an online marketplace that is transforming the way that people collect art and design. A serial entrepreneur, Aditya founded his first company at 22 and his second at26. Trained as a scientist before receiving his MBA from Harvard Business School, he has a history of successful start-ups that have innovated staid industries from healthcare and technology to art. Throughout his career, he has found solutions that use technology to transform complex and inefficient industries, including the global art and auction market. Paddle8 has attracted funding from investors in Uber, Buzzfeed, Vimeo, and Warby Parker, as well as art-world insiders like Damien Hirst and White Cube's Jay Jopling.

Born in India, Aditya received his undergraduate degree and graduate degree in Biochemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and graduated as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School. He serves on the board of Performa, New York's art biennial and the advisory board of Khoj, an organization dedicated to Performance Art in South Asia. He has twice been named to Art + Auction's Power 100 List, and presented at the inaugural TEDx conference for the art world.
